Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) for a 9-week contract assignment in Hampton, New Hampshire. The PCA will assist residents with daily living activities and provide supportive care within an assisted living facility environment.
This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, patience, attention to detail, and the ability to provide quality resident-centered care while maintaining a safe and supportive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Support residents with meal assistance and hydration needs
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
Assist with transfers, ambulation, and positioning as needed
Document care activities accurately according to facility guidelines
Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Follow infection control, safety, and resident care protocols
Requirements
Previous experience as a Personal Care Attendant, CNA, or caregiver preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required by facility standards
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to resident care
Ability to assist with physical tasks including lifting and transferring residents
Knowledge of resident safety and infection control practices preferred

Facility photo badge must be worn at all times during assignment
