Job Title: Perfusionist Profession: Perfusionist Specialty: Perfusionist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8 Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience preferred; first-timers accepted. License: State Licensure required. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: Weekend call rotation approximately every 5th weekend with possible holiday coverage. On-call as needed. Open to accommodating block schedule; discuss schedule requests with manager. Ideally no more than 5 days of requested time off. Description: This position is for a perfusionist working a 5x8 day shift. A minimum of 4 years of experience is preferred, but first-time professionals will be considered. Candidates should be prepared for a weekend call rotation approximately every 5th weekend, including possible holiday coverage. State licensure and BLS certification are required. Candidates must be willing to be on-call as needed for the role. Schedule accommodation requests can be discussed with the manager. Ideally, candidates should not have more than 5 days of requested time off during the assignment. The facility is an acute care hospital offering a full range of services and maintaining a high standard of patient care. The perfusionist will be expected to have skills in various procedures, including cardiopulmonary bypass and extracorporeal life support techniques.
