Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI); experience in psychiatric settings; background in medical-surgical nursing preferred; located in or willing to commute to Falls Church, Virginia. No minimum years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with psychiatric experience, especially in pediatric psychology, will be considered first.
- Additional Information: The role involves working on an adult psychiatric unit with a 38-bed capacity, scheduled staffing including charge nurses, registered nurses, technicians, and unit secretaries. The unit utilizes vital signs monitoring and electronic medical records. This position requires multitasking, team collaboration, and adapting quickly in a fast-paced environment. Scrubs in navy color are required.
