Travel RN – Key Requirements
- ✅ Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree (ASN) required
- Active RN license required
- ❤️ BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience supervising and delegating to licensed and unlicensed staff
- Strong assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation skills
- Ability to collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Provide patient/family education and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives
- Mentor and precept staff while promoting teamwork and professional development
Core Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
- Monitor and document patient responses to treatment
- Educate patients and families throughout hospitalization and at discharge
- Ensure safe, patient-centered care while maintaining regulatory and quality standards
