Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Step-Down unit position requiring a NC or compact RN license and prior telemetry/step-down experience.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Step-Down unit (Med Card Stepdown E3 Heart) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• NIH Stroke Certification required for this unit
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
• At least 1 year of recent experience in cardiac step-down or telemetry specialty required
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to cardiac step-down patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration
• No local candidates will be considered under any circumstances
