Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical Cardiac Step-Down (PCU) position in Asheville, NC, requiring at least 2 years of experience and a valid NC or compact RN license.

Details

  • Medical Cardiac Step-Down (PCU) unit in a hospital setting
  • Night shift position: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
  • 13-week travel contract

Requirements

  • Active NC or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
  • Current NIHSS certification required for PCU/Tele RNs
  • Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in cardiac step-down or a comparable specialty
  • US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
  • One professional reference required

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
