Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-acuity Progressive Care Unit position requiring at least 1 year of travel experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a 30-bed Stepdown Intermediate Care/PCU within a hospital setting
• Care for high-acuity patients including post open heart, post TAVR, post pacemaker, drip titrations, chest tubes, and BiPAP cases
• 13-week contract with 36-48 hour weeks accepted
• Shift schedule of 06:45-19:15
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Additional Information

• Provide direct care to complex, high-acuity stepdown/PCU patients
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Candidates should begin discussing contract extension with their manager approximately 45 days before the assignment end date
