Assists in the preparation and performance of human surgical specimen dissection. Assists in the preparation and performance of human postmortem examination with subsequent dissection, submission of samples, and dictation of gross findings. Responsibilities include preparation, gross description, and dissection of human tissue surgical specimens. Assists with frozen section evaluation. Performs gross examination, selection of tissue, cryotomy of specimen, and subsequent staining for intraoperative evaluation by a Pathologist. Prepares and performs human postmortem examinations. Responsibilities also include the preparation, gross description, and dissection of human tissue surgical specimens.
