Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN Pain Management to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocol; monitor for side-effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatment.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with level of practice.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given accurately and timely.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identify issues and resources.
• Meet expectations of applicable competencies and contribute to managing clinical situations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS certification from AHA required.
• RN License in state of employment or compact.
• Availability to work a 4x10 schedule on a full-time basis.
• Experience in Pain Procedures, Pre Op, OR, and PACU required.
