Travel RN – PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) – Lapeer, MI
Location: Lapeer, MI
Start Date: August 17, 2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 12-Hour Days (9:00 AM – 9:30 PM)
Weekend Requirement: Weekend call only
On-Call: 4–6 twelve-hour call shifts per 28-day schedule, including weekend call
Patterns Healthcare is seeking an experienced Travel PACU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Lapeer, Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly skilled surgical services team dedicated to delivering exceptional post-anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical specialties.
Position Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures.
Monitor patients' vital signs, airway status, pain levels, and overall recovery during the immediate post-operative period.
Assess and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments according to physician orders.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate documentation while following facility policies and evidence-based nursing practices.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent PACU RN experience (Required)
Active Michigan RN License at the time of submission (Required)
AHA BLS Certification (Required)
AHA ACLS Certification (Required)
AHA PALS Certification (Required)
Previous travel nursing experience is preferred
