Description
American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN with Critical Care, Pre-op, Post-op, and Surgical/Ambulatory experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Florida.
Details
- Work in a Pre-Surgery/Surgical Ambulatory Unit (SAU) setting
- Fixed shift schedule of 0600-1630, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- No blocked scheduling (grouped shifts) available
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active RN license (Florida or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Minimum 2 years of Critical Care RN experience required
- Pre-op, Post-op, and Surgical/Ambulatory Care experience required
- Candidates with only one year of experience will not be considered
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing support across pre-op, post-op, and surgical/ambulatory phases of patient care
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as traveler rate with no radius rule
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
- Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine or an approved declination are required; booster is not currently required
