Responsibilities
Provide high-quality PACU nursing care to post-anesthesia patients on-site in AZ.
Monitor patient vitals and recovery status, document progress accurately.
Strictly follow infection control and safety protocols in PACU.
Escalate and manage post-anesthesia complications with clinical judgment.
Collaborate with surgical teams to coordinate safe perioperative transitions.
Maintain accurate documentation for billing, QA, and regulatory audits.
Educate patients and families about recovery milestones and discharge plans.
Utilize performance metrics and pipelines to track efficiency and outcomes.
Participate in ongoing professional development and credential maintenance.
Demonstrate accountability for individual results while contributing to team targets.
Assist in preoperative assessments when needed and ensure readiness of PACU.
Experience/Qualifications
Current RN license with valid AZ ACLS and PACU certification.
PACU nursing experience in perioperative or post-anesthesia care.
Strong infection control adherence and safety protocol compliance.
Proficiency in monitoring vitals, recovery status, and documenting progress.
Ability to escalate complications with sound clinical judgment.
Accurate documentation for billing, QA, and regulatory audits.
