Job Summary:
The Chicago, Illinois healthcare provider is seeking a qualified Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) professional for an evening shift assignment. This role involves providing pre-operative, post-operative, and phase 1 post-anesthesia care within a busy clinical setting. The selected candidate will support the organizations efforts to deliver high-quality patient care during the specified shift hours.
Job Details:
- Position: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Location: Chicago, Illinois
- Shift: Evenings, 10 hours per shift
- Schedule: Two consecutive shifts starting at 11:00 AM and ending at 9:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) experience
- Illinois Licensure
- CPR certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Submittal packet including current Illinois licensure, updated resume, and one reference within the last year
- Additional Information:
- The assignment involves float within the department, supporting pre-operative, post-operative, and phase 1 PACU activities
- Start date is August 10, 2026, with a required availability from August 10-14, with no request days off during this period
- Orientation will be provided, consisting of 10-hour New Hire Orientation sessions on Mondays prior to the start date
