Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient in Chula Vista, California. The position involves treating patients with outpatient orthopedic injuries in a clinic environment. The role requires collaboration with a team of therapists and medical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, current state license for California, and at least 0 years of experience.
- Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries, communicating treatment plans and evaluations to medical teams, reporting patient progress to in-house and specialty doctors such as orthopedic surgeons and hand surgeons, and providing support to colleagues in identifying issues.
- Skills: Manual Therapy Techniques (Required, 1 year experience).
- Experience treating musculoskeletal strains, sprains, and fractures (Highly desired, 2 years).
- Experience practicing as a physical therapist (Highly desired, 2 years).
- Experience treating 14-16 patients per day (Highly desired).
- Behavior Characteristics: M-F, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM.
