Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient position requiring at least 2 years of experience in orthopedics, personal injury, and workers' compensation.
Details
- Outpatient physical therapy clinic setting
- Shift schedule: Monday–Thursday 12:00 PM–8:00 PM and Friday 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
- No weekend shifts required
- Patient caseload averages 12–14 patients per day, approximately 60 patients per week
- Double booking is standard practice at most clinic locations
- Uses RainTree EMR
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy required
- Experience in orthopedics, personal injury, and workers' compensation required
- New graduates will not be considered
- Active PT license required if applicable
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- Full support staff is available at every location, including front office staff and PT Aides/Techs to assist with patient flow
- Orientation (FDI) is provided by the Clinic Director a few days before the assignment start date
- First day typically includes staff introductions, EMR orientation to RainTree, shadowing treatments, and seeing a few patients; Day 2 is expected to be fully independent
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
