Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care as a member of the operating room patient care team
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a wide range of surgical specialties including Trauma, ENT, Colorectal, Plastics, Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, Oral/Dental, Urology, Ophthalmology, GYN, Orthopedic, Robotics, Vascular, Thoracic, and General Surgery
• Support laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures utilizing advanced surgical technology
• Serve as an advisor and resource for patients and their families throughout the perioperative experience
• Float within facility and within scope as operationally needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Maryland or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Current BLS certification required
• 16-hour Maryland-approved trauma course required
• 8-hour annual trauma CEUs required
• Proficiency across multiple surgical specialties as listed above

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Background in evidence-based perioperative care practices
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
