Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 1 year of OR experience, an active CO or compact RN license, and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Located in a hospital Operating Room department
- Schedule is 3x12-hour variable shifts per day, open to days or evenings; 4x10-hour shifts may also be considered
- 36 hours per week
- On-call requirements to be discussed during the interview
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
- Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required; must not expire prior to start date
- ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for OR patients
- Performs both independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
- Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- Two references required for consideration
