Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role involves working in a busy surgical unit with a focus on orthopedic procedures and experience with da Vinci Robotics. The assignments are scheduled for evening shifts, and the candidate must be adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evenings, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, 2 years of experience in operating room settings with orthopedic experience and da Vinci Robotics.
- Preferred Qualifications: Vascular experience and additional surgical skills are highly desirable.
- Responsibilities include assisting with a variety of surgical procedures, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting the surgical team during operations.
- Additional Information: The unit operates 24 hours with a trauma II designation, staffing includes a mix of day and night shifts, a patient ratio typically involving a charge nurse, RNs, CNAs, and sitters. The role requires flexibility and experience in a high-volume surgical environment.
