Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) nurse position located in Issaquah, Washington. This role involves providing specialized surgical nursing care in a busy OR environment. The position requires working a full-time schedule, primarily during daytime hours, with a focus on supporting various surgical specialties.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in operating room nursing, valid compact state licensing, and certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS). ACLS certification is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotics procedures, sedation, blood and blood products administration, and familiarity with common surgical procedures such as drains, epidural pumps, and vascular device access.
- Additional Information:
- Work will involve a combination of inpatient and outpatient surgical cases, with specific focus on orthopedic, general surgery, urology, gynecology, spine, ENT, and other complex procedures.
- Candidates should have scrub experience for ENT with endoscope procedures preferred.
- Flexibility to float to other campuses may be required.
- Must be available to work on a schedule requiring commitment to major holidays if applicable.
- Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in OR nursing, with a valid license in the state of Washington or an approved compact license.
