Travel Occupational Therapist - School (OT) in Park Falls, WI

Department: Occupational Therapist *Certifications Required: BLS & State License* **Local Rate: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility. Client rates reduced by $8.00/hour.** - # of patients treated per day: 7-11 - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Weakness r/t illness, pneumonia, COIVD, CHF, COPD. (no critical care, more MS LTC). More ADLS in the mornings for evaluations. - Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient?: Acute Inpatient and Swing bed (rehab). - What areas are they required to cover?: Acute Inpatient and Swing bed (rehab) and if time allows may ask to see outpatients. Must be comfortable being independent and jumping in, as only therapist for inpatient/ swing bed, good communication skills. - Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties: Creates individualized plan of care for patients, documents thoroughly, must be comfortable to work independently, and jump into it right away. Must have 1 year outside of schooling/ clinical experience. Open to first time travelers. - PT Manager/Supervisor: Laurie McKuen, VP - Operations, down the hall. Outpatient OTs as a resource as well, have previous inpatient experience. - Rehab Aides: PTA's: None. - Shifts & Scheduling: Monday - Friday 7 - 3:30 (to assess morning ADLs). - EMR: Cerner. - Weekend Requirements: None. - Holiday Requirements: None. - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any color scrubs, clean & professional or dress casual. - Department specific orientation: Scheduled with current therapist for first week to do inpatient. *MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Marshfield.
