Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Assignment | Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans within a skilled nursing facility setting
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to patients to restore, maintain, or improve functional independence
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and adaptive strategies to support daily living activities
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Wyoming or ability to obtain prior to start
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in a clinical or post-acute care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) environment
- Familiarity with Medicare documentation and compliance standards in a SNF setting
