Key Responsibilities- Conduct skilled home health visits, completing a minimum of 6–8 patient visits per day across a caseload that includes cardiac, orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and medically complex patients
- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and administer standardized assessments including OASIS documentation
- Provide therapeutic interventions including ADL training, joint mobilization, splinting, TENS, ultrasound, edema massage, and feeding techniques
- Develop and implement Home Exercise Programs and provide patient and family education on safety, injury prevention, and functional independence
- Complete accurate and timely billing and clinical documentation using facility-designated systems and portable technology provided in the field
- Self-schedule visits and hours based on the needs of the home care office, functioning as an independent practitioner
Required Qualifications- Active Florida OT license or valid compact license required at time of submission
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience; must be able to practice independently
- Home health experience required
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required for home visits
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption on file; flu shot or declination required with mandatory masking if declined
Preferred Experience / Skills- 2 or more years of occupational therapy experience preferred
- OASIS training preferred
- Experience with Cerner charting preferred
- Background working with prosthetics/orthotics and cardiac rehabilitation populations
