Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting to restore or maintain functional independence
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Washington
- Current NBCOT certification
- Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract therapy experience
- Familiarity with SNF documentation and billing requirements including MDS/PDPM
