Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients per physician orders and referrals
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment and discharge plans
- Document all therapy services accurately and in a timely manner
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with state practice acts and facility policies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and patient families to support optimal outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
- Active state Occupational Therapy license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
- Proficient documentation and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a rehabilitation setting
- Experience supervising COTAs or therapy support staff
