Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning across both the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) and acute care units
- Manage a caseload of approximately 4 patients per day on the IRF unit and 8–12 patients per day in acute care
- Participate in team conferences and provide family training as needed
- Recommend and implement adaptive devices and adaptive equipment for patients
- Document patient care using the facility's EMR system (Meditech)
- Work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with facility staff, with a minimum of one weekend shift per month required
Required Qualifications- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) state license
- Active BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
- Willingness and ability to work on an IRF unit
- Weekend flexibility (every other weekend required)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior hospital and/or inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) experience highly preferred
- Experience with stroke and/or neurological patient populations
