Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM–5:00 PM | Weekend rotation required | Projected Start Date: 06/22/2026

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services within an inpatient rehabilitation unit, including evaluation and treatment of stroke and neurological patients
  • Perform manual therapy for neuro re-education, therapeutic exercise, functional activity, and neuromuscular re-education
  • Assist patients with self-care tasks and functional electrical stimulation (e-stim) as indicated
  • Document patient care using the Meditech Expanse electronic documentation system
  • Utilize specialized equipment including Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, and Diego systems
  • Apply AIDET communication standards and immediate service recovery practices to support patient experience
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or inpatient setting
  • Experience with stroke evaluation and treatment
  • Proficiency or ability to work within an inpatient rehabilitation environment with a 4:1 patient ratio
  • Ability to float to acute care hospital settings when rehabilitation census is low
  • Active Occupational Therapist licensure in good standing
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation unit
  • Familiarity with Meditech Expanse documentation system
  • Experience with specialized rehabilitation equipment such as Bioness or Diego systems
