Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) for a travel assignment in a rehabilitation and skilled nursing setting. The ideal candidate will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions that support patients in regaining independence in daily living activities.

This role is suited for therapists who are experienced in structured rehabilitation environments and passionate about improving patient quality of life through functional recovery.


Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills and functional independence
Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and recovery techniques
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including PT, PTA, and nursing staff
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and facility regulations
Promote patient-centered rehabilitation outcomes

End Date: 08/31/2026

Schedule: As Assigned
Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours per Week
Contract Length: Approximately 13 Weeks


Requirements

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program required
Prior rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and patient care abilities
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Must comply with facility onboarding and compliance requirements
Must bring state or federally issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
