Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) for a travel assignment in a rehabilitation and skilled nursing setting. The ideal candidate will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions that support independence in activities of daily living.
This role is ideal for therapists experienced in structured rehabilitation environments who are committed to improving patient functional outcomes and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence
Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and recovery strategies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including PT, PTA, and nursing staff
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and facility policies
Support patient-centered rehabilitation outcomes

Schedule: Sunday Thursday
Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours per Week
Contract Length: Approximately 13 Weeks
Requirements
Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program required
Prior rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and patient care abilities
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Must comply with facility onboarding and compliance requirements
Must bring state or federally issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
