Job Title: Home Health Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 16:30 Experience: 1 year of skilled home health experience required License: Licensure in required states is necessary Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Home Health experience - OASIS documentation experience Description: Licensure in required states is a necessity. Home Health Occupational Therapist needed for hood river and surrounding areas. Start date is as soon as possible. This facility cannot accommodate four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts. Patient ratios are typically 1:1, with a maximum of six patients visited per day. A productivity point standard is in place. First-timers are accepted. Weekends are not required. On-call duties are not required. Travelers will not need to float between similar units. Block scheduling is not open for accommodation. Local candidates will be accepted within a specified radius. Both state licenses are required. The facility can call off up to one shift per pay period. Travelers should possess their own transportation. The system is efficient in grouping clients to minimize drive time. Occasional maximum driving radius is approximately 60 miles, with a total drive time of 60-90 minutes per day. Experience with various patient diagnoses is essential, including dementia, Parkinson's disease, ALS, MS, post-operative orthopedic conditions, and post-stroke recovery. General skills experience in national patient safety goals, core measures, billing, home health, and OASIS documentation is preferred. Activities of daily living experience in acute and chronic disorders is also preferred. Business casual attire is required; jeans are not allowed, and scrubs are permitted but not required. Charting is conducted using remote client and mobile applications. Providers are expected to comply with floating requirements within given states. Travelers' refusal to float may lead to termination of assignment.
