Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year required, first-timers accepted License: Must have active or pending state license to apply Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: No on-call requirement Ability to float within scope not required Open to accommodating block schedule Description: The position is for an outpatient occupational therapist. The shift is 5x8 days from 08:00 to 16:30. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience. First-time therapists are welcome to apply. BLS certification and a state license are required. There is no on-call requirement for this position. Clinicians are not required to float within scope to meet facility needs. The facility is open to accommodating block schedules; discuss requests with management. Local candidates are accepted, with no radius restriction. Time-off requests are subject to management discussion. Candidates may be subject to call-offs up to 36 hours during the assignment. If more hours are canceled than permitted, the facility will be billed for excess cancellations. Candidates will be working within a critical access facility. The total number of staffed beds is 25. Scrub colors are not specified, and business casual or professional athletic attire is permitted. Charting will be conducted using the Cerner system. Additional unit support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Adult and geriatric patient age groups will be served, with a daily census of around 20. The number of visits per day and additional unit details will be discussed during orientation. This is a compliance-sensitive position; candidates must complete all compliance needs in a timely manner.
