Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Acute Care Hospital Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year; first-time travelers accepted License: State License required Certifications: BLS, NBCOT Must-Have: - Orthopedics - Dynamic splints - Functional splints - Static splints - Amputee care - Upper/Lower Extremity - Parkinson's disease - Arthritis - Other Progressive Neurological Disorders Description: The unit requires a candidate with a minimum of one year of experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The candidate should have experience in orthopedics, dynamic splints, functional splints, static splints, and amputee care. The role involves working with patients who have upper and lower extremity issues, Parkinson's disease, arthritis, and other progressive neurological disorders. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts from 07:30 to 18:00. The candidate will be expected to work every other weekend. Floating within the facility or to outpatient care may be required as needed. If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two or three major holidays occur during the assignment, the traveler may be expected to work both or two of the holidays, respectively. Candidates must demonstrate full compliance to start on time. Travelers are required to complete all necessary documents on time to avoid delays in the onboarding process. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers.
