Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Acute Care Hospital Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:00) Experience: 1 year License: State License required Certifications: BLS, NBCOT Must-Have: - Previous experience in an acute care setting - Familiarity with EPIC charting system preferred - Ability to provide care for a patient ratio of 1:7-9 Description: Occupational Therapy position available in an acute care hospital setting. The shift is 5x8 days with variable start times from 07:00 to 08:00. A weekend rotation is required, including one weekend day shift per month. There is no on-call requirement. Flexible start times may be necessary to accommodate surgery schedules. Applicants must possess a valid state license and certifications in BLS and NBCOT. Experience with adaptive equipment and assessments is preferred. Candidates should be skilled in various therapeutic interventions and discharge planning. This role will involve working with adult and geriatric patient populations. Team collaboration with physical therapy and social services is essential. Keep in mind that solid color scrubs are required.
