Occupational Therapist Profession: Occupational Therapist Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2+ years current experience required License: Active Occupational Therapy License Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, Active National Hand Certification Must-Have: - Must have hand specialty experience - National certification in hand therapy required - Previous travel experience highly preferred - Experience with EPIC required Description: Cheshire will not consider local travelers who reside within 50 miles of the facility. Only one position is available, and travel pairs will not be considered. Shift lengths of 10 or 12 hours are not available for this need. Travelers who wish to work in conjunction with another permanent placement or travel assignment will not be considered. Schedule accommodations such as block scheduling will not be approved. The typical patient load consists of 2 to 3 evaluations per day along with treatment sessions lasting 30 minutes. Therapists treat one patient at a time, focusing on individualized care. Patient populations primarily include adults, but experience with all age groups is welcome. All requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified upon submission. Schedule requests must be included in the profile and will not be approved after submission. The facility will not approve scheduling requests made after the offer or during the interview. It is essential to have reliable transportation, as the community does not offer public transport. All scheduling requests should be submitted at the time of application to avoid issues with offer rescindment. Dress code consists of personal scrubs or business casual attire, but open-toe shoes and leggings are not permitted. Holidays may be required as needed during the assignment.
