Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted License: State Occupational Therapy license Certifications: NBCOT, BLS required Must-Have: Strong spine/neuro, comprehensive memory care, and multiple diagnosis experience Description: Occupational Therapist for inpatient rehabilitation. Work schedule includes five 8-hour shifts per week, with every third Saturday required. Experience in two years is required, but first-time travelers are accepted. Candidates must hold a state Occupational Therapy license and NBCOT certification. BLS certification is required as well. Skills should include acute care, adaptive equipment assessment, and various rehabilitation techniques. Candidates will work with adult and geriatric populations. Daily duties will include assessment, planning of care, and discharge planning. Flexibility to float within the specified specialty may be required. Weekends are required on a rotational basis. Holidays are required as they fall, as scheduled. Additional interdisciplinary support will be available. Candidates should be comfortable with the patient population including spinal cord injuries and neurological disorders. No on-call duty is required for this position. Travelers are expected to comply with all onboarding and compliance requirements.
