Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Occupational Therapist Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum years of outpatient general occupational therapy experience required License: Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts required Certifications: Current Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required Must-Have: Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy required; Master of Science or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred Description: The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing patient care for individuals requiring rehabilitation. Patient care is directed toward the individual’s special needs in an effort to optimize their physical, functional, psychological, social, and emotional well-being. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Client under the clinical supervision of Level II Therapists. The Occupational Therapist operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist in an outpatient setting is required. Experience with hand and neuro rehabilitation is essential.
