Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active license must be in hand at the time of submission Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - First-time travelers accepted - Charting system experience required (EPIC) - Patient age groups: Adults, Geriatrics Description: Occupational Therapist for Inpatient Rehabilitation needed. Schedule is Monday through Friday from 08:00 to 16:30. No on-call duty required. Floating is preferred, but can be limited to the inpatient rehabilitation unit depending on candidate availability. Candidates will be reviewed and interviewed by the manager. All requested time off must be included in the submission to be honored. No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and more. Patient diagnoses may include CVA, cardiac conditions, pulmonary issues, and amputation, among others. Daily census averages 9 patients, with a maximum of 12 rooms available. Special procedures include IRF-PAI and therapy sessions averaging 3 hours daily. Special equipment available includes lifts and transfer equipment.
