We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week contract assignment at a healthcare facility. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy services to help patients improve independence, functional abilities, and overall quality of life.
This is an excellent opportunity to expand your clinical experience while working alongside a supportive rehabilitation team. Candidates traveling with another Occupational Therapist are encouraged to apply, as the facility has multiple openings and prefers an OT/OT travel pair. Individual applicants will also be considered.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, coordination, strength, and functional performance
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve rehabilitation goals
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, assistive devices, home exercise programs, and safety strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
- Participate in discharge planning and provide recommendations for continued therapy services
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional treatment environment
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on improving functional outcomes and independence
Requirements- Required: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Required: Active OT license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain
- Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt effectively to new clinical environments and patient populations
