Pay: $2,272.40 weekly

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in New York. This role involves providing case management and direct patient care within a collaborative team environment. The successful candidate will administer comprehensive skilled care and support the delivery of quality home health services.

Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist
  • Participates and assures that Care Delivery Services meet agency goals and customer needs
  • Promotes effective working relationships within the team
  • Utilizes resources efficiently to contain costs and increase service value
  • Promotes positive, respectful communication with patients, families, and external sources
  • Develops and revises plans of treatment and discharge plans
  • Consults with and educates patients and families about disease processes and self-care techniques
  • Provides supervision of COTA and clinical supervision of Home Health Aides
  • Ensures completion of all necessary clinical records for compliance
  • Participates in patient conferences to ensure coordinated treatment plans
  • Promotes quality care through continuous improvement and problem resolution

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist
  • Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program
  • Possession of a current OT license to practice in New York State
  • Minimum of one-year experience in a Long Term Care/Home Care setting
  • Recent Home Care experience (within the last year)
  • Proficient in using OASIS documentation
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
