Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Rehabilitation Therapy Specialty: Occupational Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-hour shifts Hours per Shift: 40 hours/week Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Eligible for license or current license from the State of Oregon. Certifications: Current valid driver’s license required. Current CPR certification required. Must-Have: Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university. Must have necessary requisites for licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the State Board of Health. Current knowledge of occupational therapy as related to physical disability and rehabilitation procedures. Understanding of general medicine, surgical, and mental health concepts. Ability to work effectively in a team setting and recognize the capabilities and limitations of team members. Possession of a positive attitude and strong communication skills. Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect. Description: Evaluates, selects, performs, and/or directs assistance in educational, vocational, and recreational activities. Designed to restore maximum function to physically and/or mentally disabled patients upon physician’s referral. Works with family and health team members regarding patient’s abilities and goals.
