Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 5x8 (07:30 - 16:00 or 08:30 - 17:00) Experience: 3 years License: Must possess an occupational therapist license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - 3 years of experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation - Must have one prior travel assignment - Experience treating stroke, spinal cord injury, amputee, and general rehabilitation populations Description: We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for our inpatient rehabilitation unit. The ideal candidate will have three years of experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting. Candidates must possess an occupational therapist license and BLS certification. A fast-paced environment requires proficiency in treating diverse patient conditions including stroke, spinal cord injury, and amputees. Candidates should have experience with adaptive equipment assessment and cognitive assessments. Our program is CARF-accredited. Candidates will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. One weekend day per month is required. BLS certification is mandatory. Candidates should be comfortable floating as needed within the facility. Any scrub color except the nursing blue/white combination is acceptable. We prioritize excellent teamwork and patient care.
