Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide home health services to patients across the Orangeburg, SC area. The clinician will evaluate occupational performance, develop and implement individualized plans of care, instruct patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and equipment, and document progress in accordance with regulatory and payer requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current, active South Carolina Occupational Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- Minimum two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in acute care or rehabilitation settings required. Experience in home health settings preferred.
- Proof of current CPR certification required.
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance required. Must be able to travel locally to patient homes.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the role including lifting, bending, pushing, prolonged standing, and manual dexterity required.
- Demonstrated documentation skills including Plans of Care, progress notes, and communication with interdisciplinary teams required.
- Experience evaluating and providing interventions for activities of daily living, adaptive equipment fitting, splinting/fabrication, and home safety/modification recommendations preferred.
- Familiarity with infection control and universal precautions required.
