Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - $2,039 to $2,239 per week in Los Altos, CA

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Los Altos, CA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility regain or improve daily living skills following injury, illness, or disability. This role supports interdisciplinary care and emphasizes functional outcomes, patient-centered treatment planning, and documentation aligned with facility and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred, including familiarity with restorative programs and discharge planning.
• Proficiency with documentation systems and treatment planning in a long-term care or SNF setting preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with orthotics, splinting, adaptive equipment, and cognitive/upper-extremity interventions preferred.
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: Sun-Thu or Tue-Sat schedule.
• Position is in a skilled nursing facility in Los Altos, CA.
• 30 hours guaranteed to start.
