Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on functional goals and clinical needs
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, coordination, strength, and independence
  • Assess and recommend adaptive equipment and assistive devices as needed
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, home programs, and safety strategies
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, regulatory standards, and quality care initiatives
  • Promote patient safety, independence, and overall well-being throughout the rehabilitation process
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Oregon
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Occupational Therapy experience
  • Current BLS Certification 
  • Strong clinical assessment and rehabilitation skills
  • Excellent communication and patient education abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
