The unit has a total of 420 beds and 46 staff members. There are 8 evaluations conducted in an 8-hour shift. The type of equipment used is portable, catering to acute care needs. The documentation system in use includes Meditech and Redoc. There are no on-call requirements for this position. Typical procedures performed on the unit include evaluations and treatments. Candidates with previous acute care experience are preferred but not required. The work environment is fast-paced, and adaptability is crucial. The required dress code includes gray scrubs. The facility is recognized as a Level 2 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center. Additional recognitions include Level 2 & 3 NICU, PICU, and CARF Accreditation.
