Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - $1,914 to $2,114 per week in Port Charlotte, FL

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a brand-new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Florida Occupational Therapy state license required to start the assignment.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC preferred.
• Prior outpatient occupational therapy experience required.
• Demonstrated experience treating hand conditions and comfort making custom splints required.
• Experience managing a full hand caseload and documenting letters of medical necessity preferred.
• Ability to complete timely, accurate clinical documentation and meet regulatory and payer requirements.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills with experience developing treatment plans focused on functional return and discharge planning.

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Duration: 13 Week assignment.
• Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
• Caseload Focus: Full hand caseload; must be comfortable making splints.
• May be responsible for delegation and direction of discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
