Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Bowling Green, KY. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living skills in a long term acute care hospital setting. This role requires clinical judgment, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a commitment to patient and staff safety.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Kentucky Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience in long term acute care, critical illness, or medically complex populations preferred.
  • Experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and students preferred.
  • Proficiency with assessment, individualized treatment planning, discharge planning, and documentation in an acute care or LTAC environment preferred.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with safe patient handling techniques and equipment.
  • Experience participating in interdisciplinary team conferences and family education.
  • Familiarity with continuous quality improvement processes in clinical settings.


Assignment Details

  • Shift Type: Day (5x8).
  • May require supervision of COTAs and fieldwork students.
  • Must follow facility safety policies, including safe patient handling and infection control procedures.
