Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - $1,742 to $1,942 per week in Bowling Green, KY

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Bowling Green, KY at a long-term acute care hospital setting. Provide assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation to patients with complex medical and neurologic needs. Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences, assist with discharge planning and adaptive equipment recommendations, and contribute to a culture of safety and quality improvement.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Kentucky Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Experience in outpatient neuro setting preferred; at minimum, clinical rotation or exposure to outpatient neuro is preferred.
• Ability to assess patient functioning, develop individualized treatment plans, document per department policy, and complete progress notes in required timeframes.
• Experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, OT students, or COTA students. Ability to assist with new staff orientation.
• Follows facility safety practices including safe patient handling, materials handling, infection control, and fall prevention.
• BLS certification may be required from American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in long-term acute care or complex medical rehabilitation environments.
• Experience promoting discharge planning, adaptive equipment issuance, and caregiver training.
• Demonstrated teamwork, communication with patients and families, and participation in quality assurance initiatives.
