Bradenton offers Gulf Coast access with urban conveniences and outdoor recreation. Anna Maria Island and Bradenton Beach are about 20 to 30 minutes from central Bradenton, and the Riverwalk runs 1.5 miles along the Manatee River near downtown. Robinson Preserve features more than 600 acres of coastal habitat and paddling trails, and De Soto National Memorial sits in west Bradenton near the waterfront. Sarasota is about 30 minutes south for arts venues like The Ringling, and Myakka River State Park is roughly 45 minutes away for hiking, wildlife viewing, and canopy walks. Interstate 75 provides regional access to Tampa in about 1 hour, and Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport is about 25 minutes from the city.
