Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing occupational therapy assessments to determine functional limitations and rehab goals for residents.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve activities of daily living, mobility, balance, safety, and independence.
- Provide targeted OT interventions, using therapeutic activities, adaptive equipment, splints, and assistive devices as appropriate.
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, social work, and case management) to coordinate care and transitions of care.
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and documentation standards during all treatment sessions.

Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Montana (or eligibility to obtain licensure in Montana)
- Experience in acute care or skilled nursing/long-term care settings preferred
- Ability to perform in a travel assignment and work a dayshift schedule
- Strong documentation, communication, and collaborative skills
- Comfort working with an elderly population and coordinating with an interdisciplinary team
