Overview
Occupational Therapist – Acute Care, travel assignment in Glendive, MT. Start date 05/25/2026 for 13 weeks with 36 guaranteed hours per week on a dayshift. Setting: LTC – Nursing Home. Weekly pay range: $2,088–$2,237.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for residents in the long-term care setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing activities of daily living, functional mobility, dexterity, cognition, and safety.
- Deliver direct therapy during daytime hours, document progress in the medical record, and adjust plans as needed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, rehabilitation, physicians, social work) to coordinate care, discharge planning, and goal achievement.
- Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, safety strategies, and care planning; maintain patient safety and infection control practices.

Requirements
- Active OT license in Montana (in good standing) or eligibility to practice in Montana
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Relevant experience in adult rehabilitation; experience in long-term care or acute care settings preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a long-term care setting and communicate with residents, families, and the care team
- Strong documentation and teamwork skills; ability to adapt to a travel assignment
